Welcome to 5G′s blog – we want to share what is happening in our classroom! The blog will contain a mixture of children’s work, updates about what we are doing and blog posts written by the children. It is a fantastic opportunity for the children to write for a real audience and share what they have been doing with people at home.
All the children have agreed to our blogging rules, these rules are designed to make blogging safe. They know to only use first names and not to add any photographs of themselves. Children will be encouraged to comment on posts – again, they need to make sure they stick to our blogging rules.
Commenting is a very powerful tool – it shows the children that people have read their work and enjoyed it. By blogging, feedback can be received from teachers, classmates, friends, family and other visitors from around the globe!
All blog posts and comments have to be submitted for approval by Mr Goodman before they are published. This means that it is all very safe.
We’d also love for you to comment on our blog posts. Once again, please make sure you don’t use your surname when commenting. You can sign your comment as ‘Jane’s dad’ or ‘Craig’s mum’ etc.
